Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program
Hi my name is Wilfredo Arocho, I am a recent graduate from Nazareth Nurse Anesthesia Program. I first met Lena Gould at a luncheon that she has every year for graduating SRNA's. I was very impressed and inspired by her and the people that attended that night. It motivated me to become involved in mentoring prospective students. As a student I participated and spoke at luncheons and airway workshops. We made a video of how CRNA prepare in the mourning for their cases and perform their anesthesia machine check, which Lena share's with every person interested knowing about our profession. The mentorship program also allows you to network with others. It allow you to meet other people that have gone through the various programs, as well as meet other prospective students. Its program that attempts to answer all the questions that you might have about becoming a CRNA. It is truly an honor to work with such great people.
