Hello Everyone

Please join us for the Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program Information Session on March 27, 2010 at the University of Maryland School of Nursing.

You will meet three Nurse Anesthesia Program Directors (University of Maryland, Thomas Jefferson University and Northeastern University). Discussed will be the
admission and selection process, rigors of the program, clinical expectation, didactic courses, Board preparation, AANA conferences and more. Also, you will meet minority CRNAs and Nurse Anesthesia Students on the panel immediately after lunch is served. A video of minority nurse anesthesia students reviewing the anesthesia machine, related equipment and drugs will be given to each attendee along with a copy of the Minority Nurse Magazine edition of a feature article of Ms. Goldie Brangman, CRNA, MSN (Past President - AANA).

Attending the event are mostly minority nursing students, Registered Nurses and newly accepted Nurse Anesthesia Students from across the country. This is an informational and inspirational day. Please visit the AANA website, www.aana.com as often as you can to find out more about the profession. In fact, in the SEARCH section, type in Goldie Brangman and find out more about this exceptional pioneer in nurse anesthesia.
