The University of St. Francis was established in 1920 by the Congregation of the Third Order of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate for the education of its own members. From that day to now, USF has evolved into a co-educational university open to all offering 40 undergraduate majors and 34 minors for traditional undergraduates; 4 adult undergraduate degree-completion programs; 14 graduate programs; and doctoral programs.
