The College of Nursing at Georgia Regents University offers bachelor’s, master’s, and research and practice doctorates in nursing. GRU has the only nursing anesthesia program and one of only four Ph.D. nursing programs in Georgia and was the 10th in the nation to offer both the doctor of nursing practice and master’s-entry clinical nurse leader programs. The college’s graduate programs, ranked 44th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, are recognized nationally for program excellence and innovation. In 2013, the nursing programs at Georgia Health Sciences and Augusta State universities consolidated to form the GRU College of Nursing, becoming the largest producer of nursing graduates in the state.
