The College of St. Scholastica was founded in 1912 by a group of pioneering Benedictine Sisters who offered college courses to six young women.  Today St. Scholastica educates more than 4,000 men and women.  St. Scholastica is best known for highly regarded programs in the health sciences, education and management; a liberal learning foundation informs all programs. The college is consistently recognized for excellence; U.S. News & World Report magazine ranks St. Scholastica in the Top Tier of regional universities in the Midwest.

The 186-acre main campus in Duluth, Minnesota is set on a ridge overlooking Lake Superior.   The College offers flexible learning options which include accelerated degree programs in St. Paul, St. Cloud, Brainerd, Rochester and Arizona as well as a growing complement of online programs.
