Our not-for-profit, privately owned Christiana Care family of services includes two hospitals: Christiana Hospital, on a suburban campus south of the City of Wilmington, and Wilmington Hospital, in the downtown business district of Wilmington. Dedicated to providing the best patient care in the region, Christiana Care has nearly 1,100 licensed hospital beds, and the only Level I trauma service on the East Coast corridor between Philadelphia and Baltimore. Once again, named one of America's Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, our health system masters more than 53,000 admissions, 7,000 newborn deliveries and 138,000 emergency department visits annually.
