 RNThe Acadia Institute of Oceanography, Seal Harbor, METhe Acadia Institute of Oceanography, located in Seal Harbor, Maine near Acadia National Park, seeks a RN for our small group of 42 students and 14 staff. The nurse would coordinate and dispense medicine and medical care, maintain first aid kits and oversee general health of the group. The ideal candidate is positive, professional and enjoys joining the program on boats, whale watches, hikes, etc. Program dates are June 15-August 22 with arrival June 10, 2008. We offer a $500 weekly salary for 10 weeks plus room and board (the room and private toilet/sink are part of the clinic in our updated 1931 school house) and travel to the program. You must be able to receive certification in the state of Maine.
