About Lena
Hey all
My name is Mike MacKinnon and I am the current Student Rep for the AANA-PAC committee. I had the opportunity to get to know Lena very well over the last three years since our first meeting in Denver for the national conference. Lena is one of those people who does not wait for things to happen to her, she makes them happen. These "A types" are who fight for changes that make everything better for us all.
When Lena first started her website, http://www.diversitycrna.org/, I did as much as i could to promote it thought the website I had created for CRNAs and SRNAs, www.nurse-anesthesia.org. Not only does it serve as a true mentorship site to promote education but it is also a great place to find out about activities for all Nurse Anesthetists and students.
I fully support Lena and she has been totally supportive of me. I am excited to see where the future takes us!
